YouTube Shorts Unveils Enhanced Dream Screen Feature for Creative AI-Generated Backgrounds

As of now, this AI feature solely accommodates prompts in English, according to a dedicated support page. YouTube has also implemented various safeguards within the AI tool to prevent the generation of unsuitable content while adhering to the platform’s Community Guidelines. Additionally, Dream Screen is restricted from producing photorealistic images of recognizable individuals to mitigate the potential for misleading deepfakes.

In a statement made in September, YouTube highlighted plans to enhance Dream Screen in the future, aiming to enable users to create video clips lasting up to six seconds for their Shorts. Nonetheless, no particular timeframe has been provided for the release of this functionality.
