World of Warcraft Celebrates 20 Years: Anniversary Events and New Content Unveiled

The observance of the 20th anniversary of World of Warcraft kicks off on October 22. While the actual milestone falls on November 23, Blizzard has decided to start the festivities a month earlier. On this date, following routine maintenance, Season 1 of the latest expansion, The War Within, will launch, coinciding with the update to version 11.0.5. This update brings significant adjustments to class balance, introduces new quests, and expands the dracthyr to include six new classes such as rogue, mage, and priest.

As part of the celebrations for World of Warcraft's 20th anniversary, players will have the chance to embark on special quests that honor the rich, two-decade legacy of the game. These quests will feature rewards that reflect the rich journey of the game.

A new Classic Era dungeon, named Deepest Depths of Blackrock, has been reimagined as an 8-boss experience tailored for 10-15 players. This dungeon will be accessible through Gangfinder and available in Normal and Heroic difficulty settings.

Additionally, several classic dungeons will become part of the Time Walk rotation in the dungeon finder after the anniversary celebrations conclude.

Participants can eagerly await the revival of more world bosses, which will be accompanied by refreshed rewards, alongside the anniversary bosses introduced in previous years.
